From the very first time I heard this beautiful mantra being sung by Snatam Kaur, it has resonated within me on such a deep healing level.
When a friend of mine lost her daughter, I was sitting there in a shocked, greif stricken state, having a hard time processing what had happened and how I could help my friend lighten her heavy heart. My intuition spoke to me to played this song. I chanted through tear-waivering breaths hoping the vibration of what I was singing would reach the heart of my friend and her family who I love. By the end of the song an unexplainable feeling of peace overcame the sadness and I sat there in awe how 13 minutes of chanting could shift so much energy. You can listen to this beautiful song here.
I recently read this article on SpiritVoyage.com blog, written by Ramdesh Kaur. The impact this simple mantra has had on my life to heal my emotional wounds, I just felt I had to share with all of you too.
